in front of my eyes

    Ms. Phipps' Morning Poems are legendary and
    are what inspired me to begin to write poetry.

    In particular, Morning Poem #1, describes my
    own experience and many others I know who wake
    up looking into a floating grey world and
    thrive on this crowded vacuum.
